Installing node from git

Hi, I was installing Nodejs in my new system and had a few problems while installing through the conventional apt-get install nodejs style.

Here is another way you can try getting you node working perfectly fine.

Step1: Install the dependencies

sudo apt-get install g++ curl libssl-dev apache2-utils

sudo apt-get install git-core

Step2: Clone node from git #inTerminal

git clone git://github.com/ry/node.git
cd node
./configure
make
sudo make install

Step3: Check your /usr/local/bin, if you find node and npm there, you are done 🙂
